Garlic Rib Roast Recipe
1 Standing Rib Roast – 5-7 lbs
2/3 cup of Sea Salt
1/4 cup of Ground Black Pepper
3 Table Spoons of Minced Garlic
Rub the roast all over with the salt, pepper and garlic.
Place the roast on a rack in a roasting pan with the rib side down and the fatty side up.
Roast for 1 hour. Turn off the oven. Leave the roast in the oven but do not open oven door for another 3 hours.
About 1 hour before serving time, turn oven to 375 degrees F to reheat the roast. Keep the roast in the oven for an hour.
Note: Do not remove roast or re-open the oven door from the time roast is put in until ready to serve.
